- Gold, similar to the U.S. dollar, has little intrinsic value since there are little commercial uses for the metal. Gold like the dollar is only valuable because we give it value. The current run up is yet another bubble and will ultimately pop.

- Turned an anti partisan, anti big government rally into a partisan pro right rally.

- A lot of money on the sidelines plus the new money from TARP. Low interest rates will drive that money back into the market.
